On August 5, the Baise Aluminum Association organized a symposium on environmental compliance coordination and green, low-carbon development for secondary aluminum enterprises. The meeting disclosed that several secondary aluminum enterprises in industrial parks such as Pingguo, Tiandong, and Tianyang are at risk of a full production stoppage. Although their daily emissions of sulfur dioxide and particulate matter meet concentration standards, their total calculated emissions significantly exceed the amounts permitted under their pollutant discharge permits.
