Project Commissioning
On August 9, Phase II of the Chuneng New Energy (Yichang) lithium battery industrial park, an 80 GWh lithium battery project, was officially put into production. The project began construction in September 2025 and mainly produces energy storage batteries, power batteries, and PACK modules and other new energy products.
Capacity Ramp-Up
Yichang Party Secretary Huang Jianxiong and Mayor Chen Honghui attended the commissioning event and conducted an inspection, emphasizing that the company should focus on market expansion, achieve full production quickly, and accelerate capacity release.
