EVE Energy announced a long-term supply contract to produce and deliver 206 GWh of batteries to Fluence over the 2027–2031 period. According to the company’s disclosure, this volume represents approximately 1.7 times its projected full-year 2025 shipments across both mobility and stationary storage segments.
The agreement positions EVE Energy directly within the core supply chain for AI data center (AIDC) energy storage. Fluence, a joint venture between Siemens and AES, is a leading U.S. energy storage integrator that has recently focused heavily on AIDC applications. In June, the company collaborated with Siemens and NVIDIA to unveil a comprehensive power and storage reference architecture designed specifically for NVIDIA’s DSX Vera Rubin AI computing clusters.
This deal signals intensifying competition among battery manufacturers to secure large-scale contracts tied to the rapid buildout of AI infrastructure. As hyperscalers and cloud providers scale compute capacity, demand for dedicated grid-side and facility-level storage solutions is expected to grow, making long-term supply agreements critical for securing market share in the high-growth AIDC segment.
