On September 22, 2026, MECON confirmed that the Bacheli–Nagarnar iron ore slurry pipeline has completed its inaugural delivery run. This operational milestone transitions the infrastructure from construction into active material transport.
The pipeline will serve as a dedicated feedstock conduit for NMDC’s pelletizing facility at Nagarnar. By establishing a continuous slurry supply route, the system is designed to streamline raw material logistics and secure consistent ore availability for expanded pellet output.
