Key Facts

On August 7, a freight train loaded with 3,500 tonnes of imported iron ore departed from Yang'erzhuang Park Station on the Canggang Railway, and arrived via the Canggang Railway and Beijing-Shanghai Railway at the steel enterprise cluster in central-southern Hebei, marking the official opening of a new iron ore transport corridor from Huanghua Port to central-southern Hebei via the Beijing-Shanghai Railway.

Policy and Trade

Previously, rail distribution of imported iron ore from Huanghua Port relied mainly on two corridors: the Hanhuang Railway and the Canggang-Shuohuang routes. Next, Canggang Railway will cooperate with Shuohuang Railway to develop the iron ore transport market in central-southern Shanxi, aiming to open another new corridor.
