Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Tongguan Mine Construction Co., Ltd. (stock code: 920019) announced that it has formally signed the "Angola Uíge Province Cuia-Mavoio Copper Mine Infrastructure Development Construction Contract" with Xingyao Icarus Co., Ltd. The contract amount is USD 37,655,440.25 (including VAT), equivalent to about RMB 272 million.
Project and construction scope
The infrastructure works cover the core tunnels, chambers and supporting systems required for mine development, including the procurement, installation and commissioning of permanent ventilation, drainage, power supply, automation and safety monitoring systems. The contract period is 546 days (about 18 months). The company said that the signing of this contract marks the project's entry into the substantive construction stage, helping it expand into the international market and accumulate construction experience on large overseas copper mine projects.
