Key Facts
The overall construction of the Yulong Copper Mine Phase III project is advancing steadily, with infrastructure works planned for completion by end-2026. Total project capital expenditure is planned at about RMB 4.8 billion. The pre-feasibility study for the Yulong 45-million-tonne expansion was completed at end-June 2026, and work has begun on a mining plan; the project is still at the preliminary assessment stage.

In addition, all drilling at the Chating copper mine has been completed, with sample testing, mineral processing tests, and industrial index verification now being accelerated. The company's target is to complete infrastructure by end-2030. The company said that based on its key mines under construction and reserve projects, annual fixed-asset construction capital expenditure is expected to be in the range of RMB 4.0–5.0 billion in the coming years; combined with existing operating cash flow, self-generated cash flow can fully support these capital expenditures.
